The logo of the Flanders Open represents the "Flemish Lion" playing wheelchair tennis.
It was "born" on 5 December 2003 by hand of its creator: Johan Desseyn.

Johan Desseyn is an artist, who is the figurly "father" of many cartoon logo's.
